Week 15: Ruth and Bob Get Married
Ruth writes: The wedding picture is from 7/23/1983. I first met Bob after I’d done Phase 2, and you can see in the picture, our joy to be together. 6 months later we came to Sexuality and Identity for our honeymoon. (We had a brief 2 night stay at Mt Rainier the weekend of our wedding, but at the time Bob was running a deli, and couldn’t get away for more than that.) He shaved off his beard for the Role Reversal evening, and has never grown it back. I love thick curly beards, and I’m sure it was one of the reasons I even noticed him that night we met. Fortunately there’s lots more about him to love.
