Victoria Creighton
PsyD, CPsych, is the Clinical Director of Pine River Institute, a live in treatment centre and outdoor leadership experience for a growing campus of 60 + youth ages 13 to 19 struggling with addictive behaviours and often other mental health issues. She has been at the helm of the clinical direction at Pine River for the past 13 years and is currently navigating the expansion of additional government funded beds, the Centre for Family Initiatives and the development of a transition house. Prior to joining the PRI team, she worked at Montana Academy and was mentored by Dr. John McKinnon in his maturity model for helping troubled youth grow into mature adults. Maria Gomori, a dear mentor and friend, has assisted in training her staff in Satir Family Therapy. Together they worked to expand the maturity model to aid in the self development and healing for the whole family.
